Five times, five deserved times. Serena Williams won her fifth title in Australian, now against Justine Henin, a ex champion who was retired of tennis circuit and got a chance to make up her ranking. A match with emotion, great shots, warning moments and a few surprises. I’m not here to talk about the match at all – tactics, things like that, I’m more to say the emotion of a championship match, specially a Grand Slam match, a final.

I really believe in Serena as a legend of women’s tennis, for sure, 12 Grand Slams titles isn’t easy more than that isn’t normal, only the legends made this happen. She has more to show, she will win more Slams, I’ve no doubts of it. Five titles in Australia, she’s a queen here in aussie, she knows how to play here and she made here a second home, the Rod Laver is her bedroom, the crowd are her neighbor. Another time on the top of the ranking, Serena ‘ve writting a spetacular career in tennis, with titles, with a impressive powerful match, a empathy tennis player.

She also has so many titles in doubles, so many Slams in doubles tournaments, with her sister, Venus. Congratulations Serena, you deserved this title and all of those 11.

Since 1995 Serena came to make the dream of excelent tennis players a nightmare. Has a magical career, won all Slam tournament’s (Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open), Olympic games too. She’s the most popular tennis player in world, for sure. With a own style, Serene is always battling for titles. After a tough match against Li Na, once again, she’s in the final of Australian Open, a impressive fact, she never lost a final in Melbourne, four titles (03, 05, 07, 09). She have e important match against Justine Henin who was champion in 2004.

Predictions for this match, a tough match for both of players. Good luck and all we, fans, are waiting for a epic match in Rod Laver.

We can’t deny, the Australian Open is just the most amazing tennis tournament in whole year, of the Slams it’s the best, most amazing just because the climate is always helping, hot, very hot, sunny and beautiful days. Starting in high level, Federer, Nadal, Lleyton, Andy’s – Murray and Roddick playing the best of tennis and is just january, there’s a lot of surprises for this year.

As a Melbourne citizen I’m praying for Lleyton Hewitt, he’s a genius, a lord here in Australia so… wait for the down under lil’ mate, he’ll beat you, wait for it.

Rod Laver Arena

Every year is a surprise, it was being boring the only thing changing in the past was the second place… Baghdatis to Gonzalez but Novak had the experince to win this tournament too but Federer and last year Rafa just silenced the whole Rod Laver, we were waiting a incredible match and we had it but with Roger’s being the champion, surprisely good Rafa was the champion and that’s great because in this year, we are just waiting for a insane semifinal, can be Roger, Rafa, Andy’s – Murray and Roddick, Novak, Davydenko, so one of these guys will battle and it will be just amazing thing to watch, can you imagine a match with Rod Laver totally crowded between Andy Murray vs Roger Federer, you gotta be kidding me, it will be a classic, a memorable match.

Rafa after his first title in Melbourne.

It won’t surprise me if Rafa wins this tournament again, a lot of people are talking about Roger, Nikolay but he’s the first enemy in Federe’s list believing or not, Rafa doesn’t scare Roger anymore and since Roger started this kingdom he always had a little attention in this spanish dude, he always played with Roddick, Hewitt, Safin and never had difficulties so.. win matches against this guys was completely normal for him but when Rafa Nadal came and destroyed Roger in Roland Garros, maybe he thought: “Wow, he’s giving a life for this match” and that’s the Rafa style, every match it’s like the last battle of his life and watch the matches it’s a honor, for all of us.

Watch this players - Women: Serena Williams, Kim Clijsters, Dinafa Safina, Venus Williams.
Men: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, Nikolay Davydenko.

But now talking about the tournament at all, Australian isn’t the most charming, classic between Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open but that’s the most funny part, I just made a joke because I’m from Melbourne – I believe in this order, Roland Garros it’s the charming tournament, Paris at the background, incredible. Classic is Wimbledon, London with grass courts, style, tea and Heineken. Now in New York, concrete jungle, the Empire State a perfect scenario to finish the Grand Slam season, city of dreams, the last chance for a lot of tennis players and it’s so much beautiful watch a crowded match at Arthur Ashe. This four tournaments are completely special, so don’t waste more time, go watch The Australian Open.
